Classes we offer!

We are constantly working to add classes, workshops, and special classes for our students throughout the year.  Check back often to see what's new!

Ballet/Tap Combo Class

For ages 3-5, our ballet/tap combo class is the perfect class for your tiny dancer to learn about creative movement, musicality, and more!  Each class will devote time to both ballet, as well as tap, and will perform two dances in our spring recital.

Ballet

Ballet classes are the foundation of all dance forms.  Ballet levels range based on ability and experience, as well as age of student.  We will work with you and your student to make sure they are placed in the appropriate ballet level.  Ballet classes include instruction in ballet positions, technique, movement, musicality, and proper form for dancers.

Jazz

Jazz dance includes strength, flexibility and conditioning technique and progressions including turns, kicks and leaps. In a Jazz class the dancers also learn many fun and trendy dance steps that are used for all forms of dance. It is a wonderful class to get a well rounded variety of dance!

Lyrical

Lyrical dance combines elements of ballet and jazz to create a soft style that emphasizes storytelling through music and movement.  An emphasis is placed on grace and fluidity, musicality, and expressiveness to capture emotion through movement.

Leaps and Turns

Leaps and Turns is a jazz-based technique class based on a five-level curriculum. This class focuses on strict technique to help the dancer achieve their fullest potential. This class includes a warm-up focused on strength, conditioning, and flexibility.

Flexibility & Combos

Flexible Strength is a unique training session focusing on improving muscular strength and stamina and flexibility. Focus will be on movement (with components of Yoga) that simulate and enhance daily life activities.  Students will also be introduced to combinations, footwork, and transitions to enhance overall technique.

Hip Hop

Hip Hop is a fast-paced, high-energy form of dance and the emphasis is less on formal technique and more on personal style. Classes start with a warm-up designed to get the blood pumping and the muscles working intensely, and then students will move on to learning and perfecting  choreography.
